Sisal ropes are manufactured from fibres obtained fom the Agave plant that is grown in Africa, Brazil and Mexico. Sisal is the most economical of both natural and synthetic fibre ropes, hence is wide acceptance for non-critical applications.
Sisal ropes have very little elasticity and good abrasion resistance, qualities that make it suitable for pulley and winching applications.
Sisal ropes are available in standard coils of 600 and 720 feet, on or off plastic reels, labelled and plastic wrapped. Other lengths available on request. Merchandising displays and retail rope centres also available.

Please note:
Nylon ropes are one of the most elastic and strongest rope fibres available. Nylon absorbs a greater shock load than any other fibre, outlasts all natural fibre ropes by a wide margin and withstands dynamic loads that will break other ropes. Nylon is resistant to most acids, alkalis and organic solvents, including petroleum products.
This virtue, allied with its ability to hamper marine plant and animal growth, makes nylon the ideal choice for the petrochemical and marine industries. Nylon will not rot, and thus can be stored in a wet state.
